Who am I?
A lifelong tinkerer with a soldering iron
I'm Alvaro, a hardware modder, electronics tech and lifelong tinkerer based in Seattle. I've spent over nine years repairing, modifying and bringing hardware back to life, from game consoles and PCs to custom electronics and even cars.
My background blends computer science, IT support and deep hands-on repair work. I grew up learning mechanical and electrical troubleshooting from my dad, a senior mechanic for buses.
Over the years I've built strong skills in soldering, PCB rework, component-level diagnostics, wiring and system-level troubleshooting. Whether it's a simple fix or a full custom mod, I focus on doing the job right, with transparency and craftsmanship you can trust. If it has wires, chips or moving parts, I can probably fix it, improve it or make it cooler.
How I work
Every build is treated like it's staying in my own collection: clean flux habits, careful torque on screws, strain relief on flex cables, and a full test before it goes back to you. Everything is personalized and noob-friendly. Questions are always welcome, and I'll keep you posted on progress.
Devices & data
Your device may hold personal data. Back up anything important before dropping off or shipping, just in case. Storage isn't wiped for typical mod installs unless you ask. If a device turns out to be unrepairable, I'll contact you with next steps.

Local drop-off in the Seattle area. Fast turnaround, often same or next day.
Mail-in
Mail-in available. Reach out and we'll work out shipping and details together.
